For years I have been searching for a way to reconcile the spiritual side of life with what i know to be true. I always said "Nature is my higher
power". I found this board and think I may have found a home at last. This is a peice from my admissions application to WSU
I can feel my soul in the earth, my heart in the trees, my death in the stones and my rebirth in the seeds. I know pain. I know what it is like to have everything you love and cherish ripped away, to be left alone in the dark. I know what it is like to get up and keep moving. I bear the scars of my life not as a restriction but as a badge of honor. I know that even my death will leave a mark on this earth, I will nourish the plants with my body, giving birth to new life, and in that way I will live forever.
BTW I am a Junior in college, Forestry Major.
